Most caviars remain fresh for four to six weeks. For optimal storage, keep it just above freezing, ideally between 28 and 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Avoid full freezing.

Unopened tins should be kept refrigerated and may stay fresh for approximately 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the product type and storage conditions.
Non-sturgeon roe, such as Salmon Roe or Trout Roe, typically has a shorter refrigerated shelf life of about 2 weeks. Some varieties may be frozen for longer storage when indicated by the vendor.
Once opened, caviar is best enjoyed within 3 days for optimal freshness. Always keep refrigerated and avoid leaving the tin at room temperature for extended periods.
